In 1993, the French created 'Le D'cret Pain' which states that a baguette must be made on premises where sold, and can only consist of wheat flour, water, yeast & salt. Enjoy your stick bread dipped in your morning coffee or generously topped with Nutella. Day-old bread can be used to make 'pain perdu,' also known as French Toast!
